Thrill of the Thrift – In the Can

My bathroom houses a lot of my thrift store and yard sale scores.

These vintage mason jars, found at a yard sale, hold various bathroom necessities.

This porcelain bust (formerly white – but spray painted coral and now sporting a Dunce Cap),
found at a thrift store, dons some necklaces.

This Cuban folk art, also found at a thrift store, is home to some necklaces as well.

This former fruit basket, found at a yard sale, is now home to some of my jewelry.

This large print, found at a thrift shop, depicts a giant troll originally published in 1892.
I got this print for $1 and put it in an Ikea frame.

**  In a popular etching by the Norwegian artist Theodor Kittelsen,
Henrik Ibsen walks slowly with a gentle Troll in the main street of Oslo
whilst the panic-stricken population flees the giant. **
